2024 PRIMARY ELECTION INFORMATION

The 2024 Primary Election will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M.

    • For the June 25, 2024 Primary Election ONLY– If you are an enrolled member of the Working Families Party and you reside in the Town of Carmel, Town of Kent, Town of Philipstown, Town of Putnam Valley, or Town of Southeast, you will be voting at the Putnam County Board of Elections, 25 Old Route 6, Carmel NY 10512. 
    • If you are an enrolled member of the Republican Party or Working Families Party and you reside in the Town of Patterson, your polling place has NOT changed.

    June 25, 2024 Primary Election Notice:

    Due to a Court Order received on June 28, 2024, we have postponed all Republican Party post election activities including the opening of early mail, absentee and affidavit ballots until further notice.

    • LAST DAY TO REGISTER FOR THIS ELECTION – June 15, 2024
  • Request a Ballot and Application Information – Will you be out of Putnam County on Election Day?  Click here for information on how you may still cast your vote.  Early Mail and Absentee applications for Ballots are accepted and processed 365 days a year. Once the ballots for a specific election (Special, Primary, General, Presidential, Village) become available, and a correctly completed application is received, the ballots are mailed on a daily basis.
