2024 EARLY VOTING

There will be nine days of early voting when registered voters will be able to cast their ballot prior to Election Day.

The early voting process is the same as on Primary/Election Day. When you arrive at the early voting location, you will sign the electronic poll book, mark your ballot, and cast it on the voting machine. The early voting polling location will have sample ballots available if you would like to review the ballot before you vote. You may ask an election inspector for assistance if necessary.

All early voting sites are accessible to voters with physical disabilities.

Requesting a ballot is still an option if you are out of Putnam County on Election Day or if you are permanently or temporarily disabled.

For more information, you can contact the Putnam County Board of Elections at (845) 808-1300 or boe@putnamcountyny.gov or the New York State Board of Elections at (518) 474-1953 or http://www.elections.ny.gov/.
